For my next animal I chose the Mexican Alligator Lizard. It is not related to alligators, but kinda looks like a tiny one. This drawing took a surprisingly long time to finish, and decide on the shading and pose. This animal stood out to me because some of the individuals are cyan, a color I was not aware lizards could be. The rest of them are green though. I’ll have to find a way to incorporate that into the poem. However the unusual color earns them a spot in this book of colors.
In other news, I’ve decided that the title of the book will be: My Favorite Animals, Colors of Nature! I’m also going to aim for releasing the book in autumn of next year.
