The eastern newt was fairly easy to draw. I chose them for the orange skinned animal because they are cute. I positioned him crawling under the poem, and I knew immediately this was the position I’d be drawing him in. I don’t have much to say about this update, just kinda got in the zone and drew.
I also drew the golden poison dart frog. I knew had to chose this pose because every photo they strike this pose and this angle was the best to see it from. Both these sketches don’t quite capture the final product because the shading adds so much. I was very in the zone on this stormy Wednesday, so I kinda just kept drawing.
